How do you play like tommy emmanuel,andy mckee?

i'm new to the guitar and i very inspired by these 2 maestros especially tommy. i just wanted to know when they play a song they just arpeggiate and fingerpick the chords don't they?or is there more to it than that?can someone plzzz explain it to me?i really want to play like them.
