College/application help?

I'm in 10th grade and I'm already certain i want to be a RN and I'm going to OSU, the only thing is im not really familiar with what looks good on a college application since I'm the FIRST in my whole family who will be going to college! Will a job look as good/better then sports? Or will i have to juggle a job and sports ( I want a job no matter what )! Also how much would a scholarship for sports be normally? For maybe soccer or track?
