Need help purchasing a fuzz pedal?

I'm no expert, but I did own a Big Muff pedal back when I was in high school many ages ago and it was awesome. I sold it for $20 when I went to college and am kicking myself for that now! They are a really well built and nice sounding fuzz box. I don't have experience with the others you've mentioned though. My multi-effects pedal I use now does have the Fuzz Face and Big Muff options for distortion and I prefer the Big Muff if that's any help. You should really go to a store and try them out though. The Guitar Center near me has a whole rack of effects and you can plug in a guitar and try them out through the headphones. Give that a shot and see what sound you like the best.
